Help Me To Care
                  
                  
     Dear God, Heavenly Father,
                  
  Help me to care, to look beyond
   my needs, to reach out with a
      caring heart, and make a
      difference with my life.
                  
     Help me to care about the
   environment, justice, freedom,
     my community, government,
     the earth, and education.
                  
   Help me to care for the poor,
    the church, orphans, widows,
        widowers, children,
         and my neighbors.
                  
 Help me to care, like Christ did,
    for the forgotten ones, the
     ugly ones, the sick ones,
     and the people lost in the
          shuffle of life.
                  
  Help me to care, to look beyond
   my needs, to reach out with a
      caring heart, and make a
      difference with my life.
