Peaceful Living
                  
       There’s a drum beating
            in my soul,
       pleading to the world
       to put down its swords
           and engage in
       some peaceful living.
                  
         There’s a prayer 
           on my tongue 
         asking our God for
       peaceful living wisdom
           to shower down
       upon all of humanity.
                  
           There’s a hope
            in my heart
        that sooner or later
     all people will understand
        that peaceful living
     is the only way to exist.
