In Memory & Honor
                  
In 1997, some special people in my life were
called home to our Creator.  My dad, Milton,
my friend, Tony and my neighbor, Garold.
                  
Gibran wrote an expression that I have
     modified to help me accept
        and understand that
      death is a part of life.
   ------------------------------
                  
Our spouses, children, parents, friends,
 neighbors, and pets are not ours.
They are special creatures of life’s
        longing for itself.
         They come to you 
            and for you,
         but not from you.
   And though they are with you,
    yet they belong not to you.
                  
      My Dad, Tony and Garold
        were created by God
and were some of God’s gifts to me.
                  
              I thank 
      God for their guidance,
 example, faith and companionship.
                  
           I praise God 
    for the opportunities I had
  to have my Dad, Tony and Garold
              on loan 
         from our Creator.
